Position Overview: We are looking for individual(s) capable of deploying existing MES database, applications, and system hardware in A123 Systems manufacturing environments. The right individual(s) must be able to communicate effectively, manage their time well, interact with team members, and be a highly motivated self starter. Principal Responsibilities: ·Must be able to communicate effectively with MES team members and employees at all levels ·Focuses on best practices and standards to deliver a successful and sustainable application environment ·Have experience implementing complex projects in manufacturing ·Ability to document functional requirements by speaking with Manufacturing personnel converting the information into detailed designs that satisfy the requirements ·Ability to adapt to a changing environment and quickly learn new skills and technologies ·Have knowledge of ERP systems and shop floor integration (QAD is a plus) ·Must have integrity, be proactive, a self starter, and maintain a positive attitude towards achieving objectives ·Experience working with remote and distributed teams ·Understanding of, and ability to support change management in a production sensitive application environment like MES Candidate Must Have: ·B.S. Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field from an accredited college/university ·Intermediate to advanced skills in C#, PHP and scripting languages ·Be fluent in English (written and spoken) ·Demonstrated ability to analyze system issues and diagnose to root cause Candidate-Nice to Have: ·Hands on plant production equipment and MES support experience · Working knowledge of wireless networks
